My picture!

The league phase of the League of Champions has come to an end and the first playoffs has been battled out among the 5 champs out of 35 that made it so far. For me an opportunity to have a look back and have a short summary.

So far, the League of Champions is the largest tournament hosted by PokerStrategy.com and that shows in its numbers. 13 communities are participating with champions from 16 countries.
Russia is the most represented country with 7 champs followed by German with six and Poland with four.

Almost 30000 participants played the accompanying $500 freerolls that started one hour before the league matches.

Interesting was the high number of listeners of the Entertainment Coachings in the English Community on the first match day. Nearly 900 PokerStrategists tuned in to listen to hosts like TwiceT, Arnolde89, Ribbo and other guests.

In the German community we had an average of 300 listeners in the coachings. The highest number we reached was 601.

Now we are in the playoffs. Two matches already have been played with one playoff match and the finals are upcoming on the next weekend and again we will have the $500 freerolls and live coverage.
Find all information about the playoffs and the freerolls here: PokerStrategy.com League of Champions: Info thread

How about you? What were your highlights of the League of Champions so far? What did you like and what have you missed?
